HT 3000 Chamber

Temperature & Humidity Controlled Rubber Hardness Testing

The First Automated & Environmentally Controlled Hardness Tester

Long term exposure to temperature and humidity can have drastic effects on rubber hardness readings. The HT 3000 Chamber enables users to designate programmable temperature and humidity changes on test specimens over periods of time. While environmental changes are occurring, 25 samples may be queued for automated data collection in either Shore or IRHD scales – making this suitable for either quality control or R&D applications. Durometer actuation intervals are fully customizable and programmable in conjunction with the chamber conditions. All durometers may also be interchanged using MonTech’s modular durometer system.

HT 3000 Chamber

The Industry’s First Automated & Environmentally Controlled Hardness Tester

  • Rotary Tray with up to 25 sample positions
  • Precisely controlled durometer indentations
  • Integrated tolerance limits
  • Control & reporting software included
  • 240 liter environmental chamber
  • Temperature Ranges: -40°C or -70°C to 180°C
  • Humidity ranges optional
  • Controlled spatial airflow
  • Energy efficient compressor with closed refrigeration system
  • Swappable durometer testing heads
  • 5 layer insulated viewing window

Fully Automatic or Manual Test Configurations

Test series on up to 25 sample positions may be identified and grouped while thermal sequences are guided by the software. In Automatic mode, the chamber follows the exact temperature profile, or optional humidity profile, while measurements are taken. This allows long-term aging, or creep test sequences to be executed automatically. For manual sampling, a special sample holder may be placed into the chamber.
